Melissa's first recording with SM2 is with the iconic 'Scottish Highlands ' song. It is a song that absolutely fits Melissa like a glove and delivers a wonderful tribute to her Scottish ancestry.
Melissa started performing and playing instrumental music from 10 years old, in several bands and orchestras. Melissa trained classically on the flute and singing in choirs and vocal groups at community events both on the Bayside and over Brisbane. Melissa is a qualified music teacher and is also learning the bagpipes alongside her brother in the Redland Sporting Club Bagpipe Band.
